ESC42 ("we", "our", "us") operates the service at https://esc42.xyz. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

1. Data We Collect

Account details: email, display name
Trip data: destinations, budgets, votes, activities
Usage data: how you interact with ESC42 and Lumi AI
Technical info: device/browser logs

2. How We Use Data

To coordinate trips and group decisions
To improve Lumi AI responses (we don't use your data for public AI training)
To send reminders and notifications
To improve ESC42's performance

3. AI & Third Parties

ESC42 uses Google Gemini API (primary) and OpenAI (fallback) for Lumi AI. Data sent is limited to what's needed for answers.

4. Data Retention

Your data is stored while your account is active. During beta, features may change, and some trip data may not be kept permanently.

5. Your Rights

You can request deletion anytime by emailing team@esc42.xyz.

6. Security

We use Firebase Authentication and encryption for sensitive data. No service is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions.
